Introduction: Coming from a very dysfunctional family, I did not have the stable foundation that would have enabled me to make the right life choices. My journey is one I would not wish on my worst enemy, but in the process I have learnt so much, and have acquired experiences that I am now able to use to help others.
I firmly believe it was the path I had to walk so that I could become who I am today. We can all acquire knowledge from books, but nothing carries the effective capacity to stand with others in their times of need as those gained from going through something oneself. I have chosen to look at every experience as something to teach me what I needed or need to learn. This has enabled me to stop bitterness, anger, resentment or any negative thought from attaching itself to my unpleasant or painful experiences.
I now want to step out and use the insights I have gained by writing on various topics. I am not savvy on social media, and so starting this blog is a huge step for me to take. I would like this blog to be a platform that will empower people to break whatever taboo that prevents them from speaking.
