Welcome to my new Blog. I wish to write from my personal experience to encourage others. I came from a dysfunctional family, married a week after my 16th birthday, and by 18, I had two children, and found myself in two abusive marriages. I qualified as a person centred counsellor in 1996 and then in 2002 set up Transformation Powerhouse as a charity to work with victims and survivors of childhood sexual abuse. I know how difficult it can be to talk about things that effect us deeply. I also know the damage that can be done when we are not able to speak freely. My desire is to give relevant information that will be beneficial to readers, and to enable you to interact with me on these themes.
